The same MD-Series deburring platform, fitted with a universal chamfer wheel head that puts a consistent edge round on both sides of a cut plate -- with an optional wire-drawing wheel added for a brushed finish in the same pass.

Not a Separate Machine -- a Head Configuration

A dedicated chamfering machine is a real product category, but ours isn't built as a separate platform from scratch. The MDC series is the same conveyor, frame, and digital control system used on our MD-Series deburring and wire-drawing line, fitted with a universal chamfer-wheel head station in place of (or alongside) the standard deburring heads.

01 / HEAD STATION

Universal Wheel Assembly

Flap-wheel stations round both top edges of the plate as it passes through -- replacing a hand-held angle grinder pass on every cut piece.

02 / OPTIONAL ADD-ON

Combined With Wire-Drawing

A wire-drawing wheel station can be added in the same line, so a plate exits with both a rounded edge and a brushed surface finish in one pass.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the MDC a different machine from the MD deburring line, or an option on it?

Same platform -- conveyor, frame, and control system are identical. The universal wheel head is what defines the MDC configuration, specified at order rather than built on a different base.

Can I get chamfering and wire-drawing on the same plate in one pass?

Yes -- add the wire-drawing wheel alongside the universal wheel and the plate exits with both a rounded edge and a brushed surface finish without a second pass through a separate machine.

Do I need to buy a new machine if I already own an MD-Series unit?

Depending on your unit's head-station layout, a universal wheel may be addable as a retrofit. Tell us your existing model and we'll confirm whether a field upgrade is possible.

What edge profile does the universal wheel produce?

A rounded edge break rather than a sharp flat bevel -- suited to safe handling, coating adhesion, and general edge-safety requirements rather than a structural weld-prep bevel.
