Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we hear most from fabricators evaluating PCL machines, technical support and international shipping.

Products & Technology

Our fiber laser machines are optimized for a wide range of metals, including carbon steel, stainless steel, galvanized sheet, aluminum and brass. Achievable cutting thickness depends on the laser power selected, from 1kW up to 30kW.
Yes. Our CNC systems and nesting software are fully compatible with industry-standard formats such as DXF, DWG and DSTV (for Tekla structural models), giving you a seamless design-to-production workflow.
Laser cutting gives tighter tolerances and a cleaner edge, which matters most on thinner and medium-thickness plate or profile work. Plasma cutting handles thicker material more cost-effectively and is the standard choice for heavy structural beams and pipe. Many fabricators run both — laser for precision components, plasma for heavy coping.
For parts with a 3D CAD or Tekla model, yes — our vision system extracts the seam path directly from the model, so there's no manual robot-teaching step before the first weld. For legacy parts without a digital model, a one-time scan-and-program pass is still required.

Customization & Ordering

Absolutely. We offer customization for working table size, laser power, gantry height and specialized multi-axis robotic configurations to match your production challenges.
Standard machines typically ship in 20–30 days. Highly customized solutions or complex robotic lines usually run 45–60 days, depending on configuration.
Standard terms are a 30–50% deposit by T/T to confirm the order, with the balance due before shipment against photos/video of the completed machine. L/C is available for larger orders on request.
Yes. We welcome factory visits and machine trials in Jinan, Shandong. If travel isn't practical, we can also run a live video walkthrough and test-cut samples of your own material on request.

Shipping & After-Sales Support

Yes, globally. Our engineers can be dispatched to your facility for installation, commissioning and operator certification training, backed by comprehensive remote video support.
Every machine is vacuum-sealed for moisture protection, wrapped in anti-collision film, and secured in a reinforced export-standard wooden case (fumigation-free) to ensure safe arrival.
We support FOB, CIF and DDP terms, working with major carriers including Maersk, COSCO and OOCL. Sheet cutting machines typically ship in a 20' GP container; robotic welding lines and larger systems require a 40' HQ container.
PCL provides a 12-month warranty on core components. Consumable parts (nozzles, protective lenses, etc.) and damage from improper operation by untrained personnel are not covered — our on-site and remote training is designed to prevent exactly that.
We stock common spare parts (nozzles, lenses, drive components) for fast international shipment, and our remote diagnostics team can usually identify the faulty part before it ships, so you order the right component the first time.
Yes. Machines are configured for your local voltage and frequency before shipment, and can be built to meet CE or other regional compliance requirements — let us know your country during the quote request.
